He made his international umpiring debut in an ODI between Australia and New Zealand in February 2009 and joined the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires in 2013. He was one of the on-field umpires for the 2025 Champions Trophy final in Dubai.

Phillip Gillespie

Phillip Gillespie is an Australian umpire born in Frankston, Victoria, and a member of the Australian National Umpire Panel. He was named to the National Umpire Panel for the 2015-16 season. He made his T20I umpiring debut in 2022 and has also stood in women’s internationals, including a Women’s Test in 2021.

Kumar Dharmasena

Kumar Dharmasena is a Sri Lankan umpire and a former Sri Lanka off-spinner who was part of the squad that won the 1996 World Cup. He is a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires and was the reserve umpire for the 2025 Champions Trophy final.

Chris Brown

Chris Brown is a New Zealand umpire who was born in Rarotonga and played first-class cricket for Auckland. He is a member of the ICC International Panel of Umpires and stood in matches at the 2023 Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Ranjan Madugalle

Ranjan Madugalle is a former Sri Lanka Test batter and the longest-serving member of the ICC Elite Panel of Match Referees. In 2024 he became the first match referee to officiate in 400 men’s ODIs.
