Pakistan’s Strongest Playing XI for Asia Cup 2023

The upcoming Asia Cup 2023 is generating significant anticipation among cricket enthusiasts as it is scheduled to take place later this year. The tournament will showcase six prominent teams: Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. These teams will engage in a competitive battle, showcasing their cricketing skills and prowess. The event is set to occur from August 30 to September 17 and will be organized through a hybrid model proposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which has gained approval from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). In a collaborative effort, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will serve as joint hosts, with Sri Lanka hosting nine matches and Pakistan hosting 4.

The tournament’s commencement for Pakistan will involve a match against Nepal on August 30. Placed in Group A alongside India and Nepal, Pakistan is determined to outperform their performance from the previous edition, where they faced defeat in the final against Sri Lanka. Under the leadership of captain Babar Azam, Pakistan’s primary objective is to secure victory and clinch the coveted Asia Cup title in this tournament.
