Pakistan Cricket Board is currently looking for a head coach and bowling coach for a Pakistani cricket team. It is reported that the board headed by Najam Sethi approached Mickey Arthur, Tom Moody, and Andy Flower for the role of head coach, and they have all turned down the offer.
Even Justin Langer was offered the role of the head coach by PCB, but he has also decided to stay away from the Pakistani team due to his previous coaching stint that did not go well. Now, the PCB, headed by Najam Sethi, is hell-bent on finding a new foreign guy as the head coach for the Pakistan cricket team.
Shaun Tait, the bowling coach of Pakistan, has also been released after his contract expired, and recent reports suggest that PCB has offered the role of bowling coach to Waqar Younis. However, the legendary Pakistani pacer who once held this role is not accepting the invite by PCB and demanding a bigger role.
Media reports claim that Waqar Younis wants to be the head coach of the Pakistani cricket team, but the PCB is hoping to bring in a former overseas player as the head coach. Waqar Younis is not willing to settle down with the post of bowling coach.
