According to the report, if Team India does not go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, then the ICC will give extra money to the PCB due to being the host. Actually, looking at the kind of equations being made, it seems that the 2025 Champions Trophy will be played in a hybrid model. Anyway, the PCB has now accepted defeat in a way, and has handed over the responsibility of convincing the BCCI to come to Pakistan to the ICC. Moreover, the ICC will now be responsible for finalising and announcing the schedule of the tournament, which is tentatively scheduled to begin on February 19 as per earlier published reports. A media report has revealed that the PCB has completed all the formalities that it had to do as the host of the Champions Trophy.
