The third and final Test match of the three-match Test series between Australia and Pakistan will be played from 10:30 AM IST on 21st March at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The series remains evenly poised between the two teams as the first two Tests were drawn, and both the teams failed to gain the upper hand in the series so far.
Both the teams will be looking to dominate each other in the final test to register the win in the Test series.
Probable XI:
Australia: David Warner, Usman Khwaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Travis Head, Cameron Green, Alex Carey (wk) Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins (c), Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Swepson
Pakistan: Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Fawad Alam, Mohammad Rizwan, Faheem Ashraf, Sajid Khan, Nauman Ali, Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali
Pitch Report:
The pitch at Gaddafi Stadium is considered a batters paradise and will be suitable for stroke play. It won’t matter if the team bats first or second, as the pitch in Lahore is not expected to deteriorate during the course of the match. Both pace and spin bowlers will find it hard to get some assistance at this pitch. Expect another run galore in the third Test of the series.
Players to Watch Out for:
Babar Azam will hold the key for Pakistan as the Pak skipper has found his form back in style at Karachi. He scored 196 runs in the fourth innings of the 2nd Test while chasing a mammoth total in excess of 500.
For Australia, Usman Khwaja will once again be their go-to guy. Khwaja has notched up hundreds in both the Test matches so far, and Australia would certainly be banking on his third hundred of the series.
Where to Stream:
PTV Sports and Foxtel will broadcast the live match in Pakistan and Australia respectively. In India, Sony Sports will broadcast the game on TV, while Sony Liv will stream the live-action online on its platform.
