PSL 2024 Draft: List of Players Registered for Pakistan Super League for Diamond, Platinum Category

485 players from 22 nations have enlisted for the HBL PSL Player Draft 2024, set to occur on December 13 at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. According to the PSL list, 46 players fall into the Platinum category, and 76 have registered in the Diamond category.

The draft’s international player pool includes T20 specialists such as Dawid Malan and Reeza Hendricks, both ranking in the top 10 of the ICC Men’s T20I player rankings for batters. Quetta Gladiators acquired the services of the world’s fifth-ranked T20I batter, Rilee Rossouw, in a trade from Multan Sultans.

Maheesh Theekshana from Sri Lanka, along with Afghanistan’s Fazalhaq Farooqi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman, and West Indies left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein—all ranked in the top 10 T20I bowlers—have declared their availability for the draft. Additionally, the draft includes world No. 2 T20I all-rounder Mohammad Nabi.

England leads with the highest number of registered players (158) from a foreign country in the draft. Following are the figures for full member countries: West Indies (58), Sri Lanka (40), Afghanistan (36), South Africa (30), Bangladesh (21), New Zealand (18), Australia (16), Zimbabwe (11), and Ireland (nine). Additionally, players from associate member countries have also submitted their registrations.
