The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially ended speculations by extending the contracts of Rahul Dravid, the head coach of the national men’s team, and his support staff.
Following positive discussions after the conclusion of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, the BCCI unanimously agreed to prolong their tenure, as stated in a release on Wednesday, November 29.
It seems that Rahul Dravid will be the head coach of India in the upcoming ICC T20I World Cup 2024 which is scheduled to be played in June 2024 in West Indies and United States of America.

The future of Rohit Sharma is however still in doubt. It is not known whether he will continue as the captain of Indian Cricket Team heading into the T20 World Cup. Virat Kohli’s T20I career is still in question and both him and Rohit are doubtful for the T20I World Cup 2024.
