The IPL resumes today with a thrilling clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). This is the first match of the second phase of the tournament. The league was earlier paused due to India-Pakistan tensions, and a revised schedule was later announced.
RCB have been in excellent form this season. If they manage to defeat KKR in this match, they will secure a place in the playoffs. RCB will look to give their all in this crucial game and aim to book their playoff ticket while knocking KKR out of the tournament.
For KKR, it’s a do-or-die encounter. A loss will mean elimination from the event. Under Ajinkya Rahane’s captaincy, nothing has gone right for KKR so far.
