Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is all set to get engaged to Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Priya Saroj. The couple’s engagement date and details had already been revealed earlier. The engagement ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 8 June, in Lucknow. They are expected to tie the knot on 18 November in Varanasi.
Engagement Ceremony to Be Held at This Hotel in Lucknow
Preparations are in full swing for Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj’s ring ceremony. The event will be held at the five-star Centrum Hotel in Lucknow on Sunday. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 1 PM. Around 300 guests from both families are expected to attend. Along with them, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and several senior party leaders will also be present.

26-year-old Priya Saroj won the Machhlishahr seat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. She defeated BJP’s B.P. Saroj by a margin of 35,850 votes. Priya was born on 23 November 1998 in Varanasi. She completed her schooling at the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi.
She later pursued her graduation in Arts from the University of Delhi and then obtained an LLB degree from Amity University, Noida. Her father, Toofani Saroj, has also served as a Member of Parliament three times. He is currently an MLA from the Kerakat seat representing the Samajwadi Party.
