Rishabh Pant suffered many injuries in the car crash on 30th December 2022, but the only injury the fans are worried about is his right knee ligament injury, for which he can be out for at least 9 months from cricket. BCCI shifted Rishabh Pant to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, but there is now a new report that says that BCCI is looking to shift Rishabh Pant to either USA or UK.
Indian Express has reported that Rishabh Pant’s right knee ligament injury is quite similar to Ravindra Jadeja, who is yet to make a comeback into the Indian cricket team after getting injured before the 2022 Asia Cup. However, the sources are now claiming that Rishabh Pant needs two surgeries to get completely healed.
Thus, BCCI is looking to shift Rishabh Pant to either UK or USA to get the best care for him. There were rumours that Rishabh Pant could be back before the WTC Final, but those rumours don’t have any substance attached to them. Rishabh Pant will most likely return to competitive cricket in the month of September 2023.
