The 36th match of IPL 2025 between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will be played today, Saturday, 19th April, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The match will begin at 7:30 PM IST, while the toss will take place half an hour earlier. However, there is uncertainty over the availability of RR captain Sanju Samson, who had to retire hurt due to an injury in the previous game. Since then, no official update has been shared about his fitness.

Currently, Rajasthan Royals are placed 8th in the points table, while LSG hold the 5th spot. Let’s take a look at the pitch report and match insights for today’s encounter.

    RR vs LSG Pitch Report

Jaipur is expected to witness hot weather once again, with temperatures reaching up to 39°C. There is no chance of rain. So far this season, only one match has been played at this venue, where Rajasthan lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 9 wickets. In that game, the pitch seemed a bit slow in the first innings. This could prompt the team winning the toss today to opt for bowling first.

The average first innings score at this ground is 161.71.
