Sanju Samson is an accomplished Indian cricket player, hailing from Pulluvilla village in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His birthdate is November 11, 1994. During his childhood, Sanju Samson resided in the Police Residential Colony near GTB Nagar in North Delhi. He received his early education at Rosary Senior Secondary School in Delhi.
He acquired cricket skills under Coach Yashpal’s guidance at the Cricket Academy situated in DL DAV Model School at Shalimar Bagh. Despite his cricketing prowess, he faced disappointment when he didn’t make it to the Delhi Under 13 cricket team. In response, his father retired from the Delhi Police Force, and a year later, he also left his career in football.
The family relocated to Kerala, where both Sanju and his elder brother Saly pursued cricket, becoming members of the Master’s Cricket Club. In Kerala, Sanju trained under coach Biju George at the Medical College Ground in Thiruvananthapuram. It was during one of Sanju’s practice sessions that Coach Biju recognized his exceptional cricketing talent.
Sanju excelled in academics as well, completing his high school education at St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School and obtaining a BA degree in English Literature from Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram.

Born into a middle-class Latin Catholic household, Sanju Samson comes from a family devoted to the Christian faith, regularly attending church for prayers. His father, Samson Vishwanath, served as a constable in the Delhi Police Force and was also a retired football player and coach, having captained Delhi in the Santosh Trophy.
Initially residing in Delhi as a family, they made the decision to relocate to Kerala after Sanju wasn’t chosen for the Delhi Under 13 cricket team. Samson’s father took voluntary retirement from the police force, and this move allowed Sanju to continue his cricket training in Kerala.

As they found time, they started meeting each other and their interactions evolved into a romantic relationship. After around 5 years of dating, they tied the knot on December 22, 2018, in an intimate ceremony held in Kovalam, attended by a total of 30 people. The wedding reception took place in Nalanchira, where former Indian cricketer and captain Rahul Dravid was in attendance.
Currently, the couple has been married for 4 years, and Sanju appears to be enjoying a contented married life.
