PSL 2026 has been one of the most entertaining seasons in recent memory. The cricket has been exciting, but honestly, the off-field moments have kept fans just as hooked.
From David Warner’s surprising mid-season exit to Fakhar Zaman’s ball tampering drama, this season has had no shortage of headlines. Even the mascots got in on the action when Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars’ costumed characters had a mock brawl before a match that had everyone in splits.
But right now, one moment is being talked about more than anything else.
During a live commentary session, veteran broadcaster Ramiz Raja and former Australian cricketer Lisa Sthalekar shared what started as a simple friendly hug. It was a warm, natural gesture between two colleagues. However, Raja then responded with a quick peck on her forehead, and that is the moment that caught viewers completely off guard.

What made the clip spread so fast was how unscripted it looked. Neither of them made a big deal out of it. Both returned to their commentary almost immediately. But the cameras had already caught everything, and within hours, the clip was everywhere on social media.
Reactions were all over the place. Many fans laughed it off and flooded X with memes. Some called it a sweet moment between two broadcasting veterans. A few others thought it felt out of place in a professional setup, though most did not seem too bothered by it.
This came just days after Raja’s now-famous slip where he accidentally called a PSL award the “Catch of the IPL” live on air — something that still has fans chuckling.

Despite all the noise, Ramiz has carried on with his usual confidence behind the mic. If anything, these moments have made PSL 2026 even more memorable beyond just the cricket itself.
