Former Indian skipper, Sourav Ganguly, has expressed confidence in Ajinkya Rahane's ability to perform well in the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia. Ganguly also wished KL Rahul, who has been ruled out of the WTC Final and the IPL 2023 due to injury, a speedy recovery.

Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly has shown his support for Ajinkya Rahane’s selection in the playing XI for the World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia, which is set to begin on June 7 at The Oval in London. Ganguly believes that Rahane could capitalize on the opportunity and perform well in the game.

Ajinkya Rahane was dropped from the squad after India’s tour of South Africa in January 2022 and made his comeback in the Test squad after Shreyas Iyer was ruled out of the match.
