Widely regarded by some as the finest Test batsman in the modern era and one of the sport’s all-time greats, Smith has often been compared to Don Bradman due to his exceptionally high Test batting average, earning him the title of ‘the best since Bradman.’

Smith’s educational journey took him to Menai High School, but at the age of 17, he made a pivotal decision to pursue his cricketing career in England. There, he played club cricket for Sevenoaks Vine in the Kent Cricket League and performed exceptionally well, earning a spot in Surrey’s second XI.
