Star Australian batsman Steve Smith struggled with the bat in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy. However, he has been seen struggling in the world of social media as well.
Smith took to Twitter to wish his wife, Dani Willis, a happy Valentine’s Day but made the blunder of tagging the wrong person who also has the same name.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to my beautiful wife @dani_willis. Can’t wait to see you in a couple of days,” he tweeted while tagging the wrong person.
The correct username of Steve Smith’s wife’s Twitter handle is @DaniWillis91 and not what Steve Smith tagged above.
Steve Smith later deleted the tweet. However, fans were quick to latch on to Steve Smith’s mistake and flooded Twitter with hilarious messages and tweets.
To be fair, Smith just copied the caption from Instagram and directly pasted into Twitter but unfortunately he tagged someone else. Later as soon as he realised he deleted the tweet but fans are always faster than you think.
