Sybrand Abraham Engelbrecht, born on September 15, 1988, is a cricketer originally from South Africa who represents the Netherlands cricket team.

Born in Johannesburg, Sybrand Abraham Engelbrecht is a right-hand allrounder known for his middle-order batting and offspin bowling. His first-class debut came in October 2007 when he played for Northerns, and in that match against North West in the Provincial Challenge, he showcased his skills by scoring 45 runs and taking four wickets.
During the Under-19 World Cup in Malaysia in 2008, Engelbrecht earned recognition for his exceptional fielding at point, drawing comparisons to Jonty Rhodes due to his remarkable catches.

He later transitioned to playing for the Cape Cobras and even represented South Western Districts in the 2015 Africa T20 Cup. Engelbrecht eventually moved to the Netherlands to play club cricket, where he served as the captain for VCC in the Topklasse league. In 2023, he met the ICC residency qualifications to play for the Netherlands and was named in a Netherlands A squad for a series against Guernsey.
