Musheer Khan Involved in Severe Accident, Out of Cricket for Several Months

Musheer Khan, the brother of Indian cricket star Sarfaraz Khan, has been injured in a road accident. He suffered significant injuries to his neck while traveling with his father, Naushad Khan, from Azamgarh to Lucknow when the incident occurred. The exact cause of the accident is not yet clear, but sources indicate that the car flipped 4-5 times, resulting in serious injuries to Musheer.

As a result, Musheer is likely to be out of cricket action for at least six weeks, and his return could take up to three months. This injury will definitely rule him out of the Irani Trophy. The Khan family is originally from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, with their village, Basupar, located in the Sadhgadhi tehsil.

Outstanding Debut in Duleep Trophy

Musheer made a remarkable impact in his debut at the Duleep Trophy 2024, scoring 181 runs for India B against India A. He faced 373 balls and hit 16 fours and 5 sixes.
