    The ‘360 degree’ player hammered 83 off 35 balls as Mumbai completed the stiff 200-run chase in 16.3 overs. Nehal Wadhera also completed his half-century, while Ishan Kishan chipped in 42(31) at the top.

    Earlier, the MI bowlers produced a good comeback helping the side recover from Glenn Maxwell and Faf du Plessis’ onslaught and kept RCB below 200(199/6). Maxwell smashed 68 in 33 balls, while Du Plessis scored 65(41).

    The pair added 120 runs for the third wicket after RCB were reduced to 16/2 in 2.2 overs. Mumbai, who opted to field, kicked-off the proceedings on a perfect note as Jason Behrendorff removed Kohli for 1.

    Behrendorff was the most successful among the MI bowlers as he scalped three wickets and conceded 36 in his four overs

    Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and opted to bat first at the Eden Gardens. They scored 58 runs in the powerplay but lost Prabhsimran Singh, Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Liam Livingstone in that period.

    Dhawan then stitched things up for Punjab in the middle over, putting up a 53-run stand with Jitesh Sharma for the third wicket. Dhawan scored 57 off 47 before falling to his KKR counterpart Nitish Rana.

    PBKS struggled to get momentum until the last two overs in which Shahrukh Khan and Harpreet Brar gave them a big boost. 36 runs were scored in those two overs, with 21 coming off the last and Punjab kings scored 179/7.

    Shahrukh was unbeaten on 21 off 8 while Brar was on 17 off 9. In response, KKR were not able to get too much momentum going in the powerplay and it has now come to a point where they need more than 50 runs to win in the last five overs.

    However, Andre Russell turned the tables with three sixes in the 19th over. KKR suddenly needed just six to win off the last over but Arshdeep Singh made sure it went down to the last ball. Rinku Singh hit a four off that to take KKR over the line.

    Chahal went to add three more wickets to his tally and conceded 29 runs in his four overs. Earlier, Jos Buttler, who struggled in recent outings, roared back to form as he smashed a 59-ball 95 to power Rajasthan to a staggering 214/2 in 20 overs after they opted to bat.

    Buttler’s knock featured ten 4s and four 6s and he found great support from his skipper Sanju Samson, who returned unbeaten on 66(38). Together the duo added 138 runs for the second wicket after Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave Rajasthan an explosive start.

    Rajasthan Royals posted 118 runs in their IPL match at Jaipur against Gujarat Titans on Friday, which is their lowest total on the home venue. Rajasthan were bundled out for 118 in 17. 5 overs. In the match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2012, RR posted a total of 126/6, 130/6 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2010 and 133 against CSK in 2011. Gujarat Titans won the match with a good display from bowlers Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad and chased the target of 119 with more than six overs to spare. Gujarat Titans openers – Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha – got off to a bright start. The fifty partnership was up for the opening duo in the seventh over.

    RR were still searching for the all-important breakthrough as GT openers took the game further away from the home side. Yuzvendra Chahal finally provided the wicket by dismissing Shubman Gill who was out stumped for a score of 36(35). However, captain Hardik Pandya, who walked in to bat at number 3, hammered three sixes and a four against Adam Zampa, who conceded 24 runs in his third over. The Gujarat Titans captain raced off to 37* in just 13 balls. Within a single over GT only needed 5 more runs to win. Wriddhiman Saha hit the winning runs as GT registered a comprehensive 9-wicket win over RR in a dominating fashion.
