Tanzim Hasan Sakib, born on October 20, 2002, is a promising Bangladeshi cricketer. His journey in List A cricket began when he made his debut for Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on March 27, 2019. In December 2019, he earned recognition by being named in Bangladesh’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Tanzim Hasan Sakib extended his cricketing horizons by making his first-class debut on March 29, 2021, while representing Sylhet Division in the 2020–21 National Cricket League. Tanzim Hasan Sakib was born on October 20, 2002, in Tilakchanpur village of Sadar Union in Balaganj Upazila, Sylhet. His father, Gauch Ali, and mother, Selina Begum, provided him with his upbringing. His journey began with a talent pool scholarship in the PEC exam from Adityapur Government Primary School, Balaganj, leading to his admission to Balaganj Government DN Model High School.
In Class VIII, Tanzim Hasan Sakib’s cricketing aspirations took shape as he earned a place in the under-13 national team through selections at Moulvibazar District Stadium. Following this, he underwent a three-month bowling course at the Zahoor Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong before securing admission to BKSP. During his time at BKSP, he represented the Bangladesh national under-17 cricket team in India in 2016 and the under-19 team in England and Sri Lanka in 2019.
Notably, on March 27, 2019, Tanzim qualified for A cricket while playing for the Sports Education Institute cricket team in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2018-19 tournament.

He firmly denied being a misogynist and underscored his respect for women by mentioning his own mother.
Fellow cricketer Mehidy Hasan Miraz also acknowledged that Tanzim had posted his comments in an inappropriate manner but did not believe that he intended to convey misogyny.
