Champions Trophy 2025 will be organized next year, but preparations for it have started now. A draft schedule has been submitted to the ICC by the PCB, which can be released. However, it is not yet decided whether Team India will go to Pakistan for this tournament or not. If the Indian cricket team does not go there, then where will Team India play its matches, it is yet to be revealed. However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah has already made it clear that Rohit Sharma will be seen leading the Indian team for the Champions Trophy.
A total of eight teams have qualified for the Champions Trophy to be held next year. Apart from India and Pakistan, it includes teams from Bangladesh, New Zealand, Australia, England, Afghanistan and South Africa. India and Pakistan have been placed in the same group, while apart from these, the teams of Bangladesh and New Zealand are included in this group. The remaining four teams are in the second group. It has been told by the PCB that all the matches of this time’s Champions Trophy have been kept at three stadiums. Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi have been included in this.
Team India’s schedule may be like this
The information that has come out so far has revealed that the match of India and Pakistan can be held in Lahore on March 1. All the matches of India have been kept in Lahore itself. Before this, India and Bangladesh are likely to play a match on 20 February, while India’s match with New Zealand may be held on 23 February. However, this is only a draft schedule and it is yet to be finalized. The biggest question is whether the Indian team will tour Pakistan and play a match in Lahore. Right now there is no such possibility, but it cannot be said if there is any change later.
