    2. Belinda Clark – 229* (Australia vs Denmark, Mumbai, 1997)


    Belinda Clark is widely regarded as one of the greatest women cricketers of all time. She held the record for the highest individual score in women’s ODIs for almost 17 years. Her unbeaten 229* against Denmark in Mumbai in 1997 remains the highest individual score in women’s ODIs. Clark faced 155 deliveries and hit 22 fours and 4 sixes in her innings. She helped Australia post a mammoth total of 412/3, which remains the highest team total in women’s ODIs.

    3. Deepti Sharma – 188* (India vs Ireland, Potchefstroom, 2022)


    Deepti Sharma is an Indian cricketer who has been a regular member of the Indian team for a few years now. She scored an unbeaten 188* against Ireland in Potchefstroom in 2022, which is the third-highest individual score in women’s ODIs. Sharma faced 160 deliveries and hit 27 fours and 2 sixes in her innings. She helped India post a total of 358/3, which they defended comfortably, winning the match by 249 runs.

In the 2019 World Cup match against Sri Lanka in Bristol, Healy scored 148 off just 61 deliveries, which is the fourth-highest individual score in women’s ODIs. Healy hit 19 fours and 7 sixes in her innings and helped Australia post a total of 334/5, which they defended comfortably, winning the match by 87 runs.

    5. Chamari Athapaththu – 178* (Sri Lanka vs Australia, Bristol, 2017)


    Chamari Athapaththu is a Sri Lankan cricketer who has been a regular member of the Sri Lankan team for many years. In the 2017 World Cup match against Australia in Bristol, Athapaththu scored an unbeaten 178 off just 143 deliveries, which is the fifth-highest individual score in women’s ODIs. She hit 22 fours and 6 sixes in her innings, and Sri Lanka posted a total of 257/9, which they were unable to defend, losing the match by 8 wickets.

    7. 173* Charlotte Edwards England vs Ireland (December 1997)

    England’s Charlotte Edwards went on to score what would later become the fifth-highest individual score in Women’s ODI when England faced off against Ireland in the 1997 Women’s World Cup in Pune. The skipper, who opened the batting for her side, carried the bat for her team as she went on to score an unbeaten 173 off 155 balls at a strike rate of 111.61. England went on to score 324 at the loss of just three wickets. In response, Ireland could just manage 116 runs, with England winning the game by 208 runs.
