6) 53(28) Vs Kings XI Punjab (Now Punjab Kings)

When Robbie gets going there’s no stopping. Such a storm came against Kings Xi back in 2016. When he was playing for Kolkata Knight Riders, the team was chasing a total. Robin  Uthappa didn’t look at the target and started smashing bowlers all over the park to register one of the quickest half-centuries of IPL as KKR won the match with three overs left.

5) 80(52) Vs Mumbai Indians

Robin Uthappa’s form in 2014 was the key reason behind Kolkata Knight Riders lifting their 2nd IPL trophy in 2014. He was in tremendous form throughout the tournament accumulating 660 runs to lay his hand on the orange cap. Kolkata was chasing a total against Mumbai Indians solid bowling line-up that had Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, Harbhajan Singh, and Pragyan Ojha, yet it didn’t bother him as he scored 80 runs in KKR’s win.

4) 80*(59) Vs Chennai Super Kings

Robbin started 2015 IPL season from where he left in 2014. He looked settled from the pavilion against the bowlers. Kolkata was chasing a 165-run total which seemed simplistic until skipper Gautam Gambhir was out cheaply followed by Manish Pandey and Suryakumar Yadav. However, Robbin etched a partnership with Andre Russel and scored unbeaten 80 runs to guide Kolkata to another win.

3) 83* Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

In the 2014 season, Uthappa was the savior for Kolkata on numerous occasions. This was no new to him when Gautam Gambhir & Manish Pandey fell cheaply within 4 overs. Robin held his nerves without any panic and gathered 83 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore to set a 196-run target that the latter couldn’t chase down.

2) 87(47) Vs Rising Pune SuperGiants

Whenever we talk about Robin Uthappa, there has to be a big partnership around him. This time, it was between Gautam Gambhir and him who were chasing a total of 183 runs set by Pune Supergiants. The duo registered one of the highest 2nd wicket partnerships of 158 runs which were more than enough for Kolkata’s victory. This was special for Robin Uthappa as it was the closest he came to scoring his maiden IPL century till 2018.

1) 88(50) Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

CSK was batting first and lost two early wickets of Gaikwad & Moeen Ali. But Uthappa stayed still on the crease to build CSK’s 2nd highest partnership of 162 runs with Shivam Dube. Robin played the anchor role and took charge when needed to register his highest IPL score. Chennai scored 216 and won by 23 runs against RCB.
