Usama Mir Domestic Career
From the 2013 to 2015 seasons, Usama Mir showcased his wicket-taking prowess while representing Khan Research Laboratories, emerging as a reliable option for his captain. His standout performance came during the 2015 Haier Super 8 T20 Cup, where he topped the charts as the leading wicket-taker. In 2017, Mir joined Karachi Kings in the PSL and also contributed to the Pakistan team, which reached the final of the 2017 ACC Emerging Team Cup, finishing as the tournament’s top wicket-taker with 13 dismissals. His consistent performances earned him a spot in Punjab’s squad for the 2018 Pakistan Cup, where he again excelled, leading Punjab’s bowling attack with six dismissals in four matches. Additionally, he was selected to represent the Toronto Nationals in the inaugural edition of the Global T20 Canada tournament during the players’ draft held on June 3, 2018.
