Proteas cricketer Dewald Brevis took the cricketing world by storm after his sensational innings in the recently concluded Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2022 which was won by India. However, Dewald Brevis was adjourned as the player of the tournament.
Dewald Brevis scored 506 runs in the world cup at an average of nearly 90. Dewald Brevis or Baby AB as he has been known after his performances now holds the record for most runs by a batter in a single U-19 World Cup edition.
The star proteas player was bought by Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022 Mega Auction for 3 crores which were quite high from his base price, although still considerably low according to the thrill he produced in the world cup with his bat. The South African player has been the talk of the town and every cricket enthusiast is eager to watch him bat for the five-time champions Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022.
However, Mumbai Indians created a buzz around the fans after they released the video of Baby AB’s first net session. The batter’s shot leaves you awestruck and makes one wonder as if AB de Villiers is batting.
Here’s the video of Dewald Brevis from the Mumbai Indians net session-

What do you think about Dewald Brevis’s shots from this net session? Do his shots amaze you? Undoubtedly, he is a 360 player. Now Mumbai Indians have two such players in their camp- Suryakumar Yadav & Dewald Brevis. If these two get going then bowlers would be requiring extra fielders.
The new phase of the cash-rich tournament TATA IPL 2022 will begin from 26th March 2022. The introduction of two new teams, Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants led by Hardik Pandya & KL Rahul respectively, have led to a change in the tournament format to 2 groups format of 5 teams each.
Every IPL team is preparing their strategies to lay their hands on the golden IPL 2022 trophy. Who do you think will be able to lift the IPL trophy this time? Will we see another trophy going to either Chennai Super Kings or Mumbai Indians? Or will there be a new titleholder? Can Gujarat Titans or Lucknow Super Giants lift the IPL trophy in their maiden season?
