India is taking on Australia in the 1st Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. While it was expected that Australian openers would give the team a good start, the opposite happened. Australia lost both of its openers very quickly.
But Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne didn’t let any more wickets fall and played cautiously to steady the Australian innings.
However, there was a lot of drama in the middle. One of these came in the 22nd over of the Australian innings. Ashwin, who was called into the attack, bowled the entire over quietly. But as he bowled the final delivery of the over, he gave a befitting reply to the Aussie mainstay, conceding only two runs in that particular over.

Marnus Labuschagne was later dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja when he was just 1 run away from completing his half-century after KS Bharat stumped him brilliantly on a sharp spinning delivery.
