The Chennai crowd’s passion and enthusiasm are unparalleled, and it is no surprise that they go wild when MS Dhoni hits a massive six. Recently, CSK tweeted a video of Dhoni’s incredible shot, causing the crowd to erupt in excitement. As the noise reached a crescendo, Michael Hussey couldn’t resist joining in and broke into a smile. He then turned to the crowd, shook his head in disbelief, and joined them in applauding the captain’s impressive shot.

Here is the video, shared by Chennai Super Kings on their official Twitter handle:

With four IPL titles under his belt, Dhoni has been instrumental in leading CSK to victory in the past. Although he handed over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja in the previous season, when the team failed to perform well, Dhoni stepped back into the role of captain mid-season to try and turn things around.

He expressed his intention to return next season to personally thank fans across India, as the IPL will be held in 12 different cities in 2023.
