While Team India is playing a 5-match T20 series against Zimbabwe, former Indian players are competing in the World Championship of Legends. India Champions started well in this tournament, but now their performance is faltering. Notably, to qualify for the semifinals of this 6-team tournament, India must win their next match.

Pakistan Champions currently top the World Championship of Legends points table

As for the current points table of the World Championship of Legends, Pakistan Champions are at the top. The team has played four matches and won all of them, thus accumulating 8 points. Following them is the Australian team in second place, having played four matches, winning three, and losing one, with a total of 6 points. Both of these teams have secured their spots in the semifinals by staying in the top 2. The remaining two semifinal spots are yet to be decided.

India Champions are currently third on the points table

Under the captaincy of Yuvraj Singh, India Champions have won two out of four matches and lost two. The team is currently in third place. England Champions, with two points, are in fourth place, having played four matches and won only one. West Indies Champions have won one out of three matches and have two points, placing them fifth. South Africa, having played three matches without a win, is at the bottom of the table with no points.

India Champions’ next match is against South Africa Champions on July 10

India Champions’ next match is on July 10 against South Africa. This match will be played at 9 PM Indian Standard Time on Wednesday. The top four teams after this will proceed to the semifinals, which will be played on July 12. The final will be held on July 13. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, West Indies and England Champions will face each other, followed by a match between South Africa and Pakistan Champions. Whether India Champions make it to the semifinals will largely depend on the results of these two matches, but they must win their final match. If points are tied, the top four teams will be determined based on net run rate.
