Sairaj Bahutule, formerly with the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, will join Team India as the interim bowling coach for their tour of Sri Lanka.
The 51-year-old will oversee the bowling department for six limited-overs matches—three ODIs and three T20Is. Following this, Morne Morkel will take over as the full-time bowling coach, as reported by Cricbuzz.
Bahutule will work alongside Abhishek Nayar and Ryan ten Doeschate, who will serve as assistant coaches under head coach Gautam Gambhir. T Dilip, the previous fielding coach under Rahul Dravid, will also be part of the support staff.

Before his current role at the NCA, Bahutule had coaching stints with Kerala and Bengal, and was the spin bowling coach for Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat at the domestic level. He also served as the bowling coach for India A during their 2021 tour of South Africa.
