“Hardik Pandya vice-captained the T20 team under Rohit Sharma. He is fully fit and is present for the three-match T20 series and it was expected that he would take charge of the team but there is a strong possibility that Suryakumar Yadav will be the captain of India not only in the Sri Lanka series but also till the 2026 T20 World Cup.”

Hardik Pandya has seen many major injuries in his career so far, due to which he has been away from cricket for a long time.
