World Cup 2023: India vs Pakistan Playing 11- Bumrah, Iyer & Rahul to Miss

Jasprit Bumrah is expected to return before the Asia Cup, and so does KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer.

ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is scheduled to start from 5th October 2023 with a clash between the finalists of ICC ODI World Cup 2019. The host, Team India, will start its journey with a clash against the mighty Australians on 8th October 2023 at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai. The much-anticipated match between India and Pakistan is going to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium on 15th October 2023.

What will be the playing 11 of India and Pakistan for the marquee clash is a question that is doing the rounds of the internet these days. With KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant being injured, the Indian team is forced to look for alternatives to have options if these players miss the clash against Pakistan.

Jasprit Bumrah is expected to return before the Asia Cup, and so does KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer. However, it won’t be easy to make a comeback after such a long gap and their performances may suffer. If the combinations that India is trying right now work, then the team management can choose to ignore Bumrah, Iyer and Rahul in the match against Pakistan.
