Chasing 384 to win, the Australians were bowled out for 212 by a bowling attack led by Harbhajan Singh, who took 13 wickets in the match, 7 in the first innings and 6 in the second innings. India vs Australia 2008 Perth Test

What an exciting Test match. The game lasted only four days, but it kept swinging from one team to the other, session after session. After falling behind 0-2 in the series, Anil-Kumble’steamrallied to defeat the hosts and make it 2-1 going into the final Test. That was the first time any team had beaten the Aussies at the WACA in over ten years. It was also India’s first victory in Australia in more than four years. India vs Australia 2021 Adelaide Test

A Test that India would like to forget but cannot for two reasons. One, they scored 36 runs in the second innings, the lowest in Test history. Two, what happened after this Test was unexpected as an injury-struck person. The Indian team defeated Australia 2-1 in two Tests. Adelaide will be remembered as the start of a historic journey on that tour. India scored 244 in the first innings before bowling out Australia for 191 to take a commanding lead. But then the unthinkable happened: India was bowled out for 36 in their second innings. Australia won and took a 1-0 lead by chasing down the small target on the third day.

India vs Australia 2021 Gabba Test

The Gabba Test victory was memorable. Many heated exchanges between Indian and Australian players occurred during this tour in 2020-21. Ex-Australian captain Tim Paine even warned R Ashwin about short stuff being bowled at Indians on the bouncy Gabba pitch ahead of the fourth and final Test. Australia had not lost a Test match at Gabba in 32 years, and the Aussies were very proud of their “Fortress.” India made history when the batting unit led by Rishabh Pant chased down 328 right before stumps on Day 5 to win the match and the series. Pant finished with an unbeaten 89 to breach the Gabba Fortress. India returned home with a series victory.
