The second match of the Test series being played between England and West Indies has also been completed. With this match, England has not only captured the three-match series, but has also taken a long leap in the points table of the World Test Championship. This has not affected the health of the Indian team, but for Pakistan, not right now, but in the coming times, it can definitely create problems. The team has now reached number 6 directly in the WTC points table.

India number one in World Test Championship points table

If we talk about the latest points table of the World Test Championship, then the Indian cricket team occupies the number one position here. Team India’s PCT is currently 68.51. Which is more than all the other teams. After this, if we talk about the second position, then Australia team is here. Australia’s PCT is currently 62.50. That is, there is a difference between the first and second number team, but it is not very much. It can change only after a win or loss in a match.

New Zealand and Sri Lanka teams are at par

If we talk about the other teams, then New Zealand and Sri Lanka have equal PCT. The PCT of both of them is 50 at this time. But New Zealand has more points, so this team is at number 3 and Sri Lanka has slightly less points, so this team is at number 4. After this comes the Pakistan cricket team. Pakistan’s PCT is 36.66 at this time. The team is stuck at number 5.

England’s team reached sixth position after winning two matches in a row

Now let’s talk about England, which has taken a big leap by winning two back to back matches against West Indies. England’s PCT has now become 31.25. The team has now come directly to the sixth position. There is still one more match left in the series.

If England’s team manages to win this match too, then its PCT will suddenly increase to 36.53. That means England will come very close to Pakistan team. Although England’s team will remain at the sixth position, but in the coming time, difficulties can definitely be seen increasing for Pakistan.

West Indies team reached the bottom position after losing two matches in a row

If we talk about the teams after this, South Africa and Bangladesh have a PCT of 25 and these teams are at seventh and eighth position. West Indies has suffered a huge loss after losing two matches against England in a row.

The team has now reached the last position i.e. ninth with a PCT of 22.22. However, it has a chance to move ahead by winning the last match of the England series, but with the aggressive style in which England is playing, it does not seem that West Indies will be able to succeed.
