The former Indian batter Gautam Gambhir has decided to put the debates about Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar to rest by saying that Sachin Tendulkar is better than Virat Kohli. He did not say it outright but hinted that there is no comparison between the legendary Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.
Virat Kohli recently scored his 45th century in ODIs and 73rd century overall. He is on the path to breaking the record of Sachin Tendulkar’s 100 century in international cricket. After Kohli’s ton against Sri Lanka in the first ODI, people are comparing him with the legend Sachin Tendulkar and Gautam Gambhir is one of those who do not like these comparisons.
Gautam Gambhir said, “you can’t compare Virat with Sachin. In Sachin’s era there weren’t 5 players inside the 30-yard circle”. He meant to say that Sachin Tendulkar was much better and played against better bowlers than Virat Kohli. However, Virat Kohli has some insane records in international cricket, and they can’t be denied.
