India and Australia are going to lock horns for the first Test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at VCA Stadium in Nagpur from 9th February 2023. All three of them are injured, and India will certainly feel their absence in the upcoming Test match.

Shubman Gill is expected to be out of the first Test match despite being in supreme touch. KL Rahul is expected to open with Rohit Sharma in the 1st Test at Nagpur.
The Indian cricket team management is likely to go with KL Rahul as the opener, as he is also the vice-captain for this series. Meanwhile, there are clear signs of Suryakumar Yadav debuting in this series.
Ravindra Jadeja is expected to walk into the playing XI instead of Axar Patel. Kuldeep Yadav is also gonna get a chance in playing XI for the 1st Test, as per the recent reports.
