Shubman Gill is expected to be out of the first Test match despite being in supreme touch. KL Rahul is expected to open with Rohit Sharma in the 1st Test at Nagpur.
The Indian cricket team management is likely to go with KL Rahul as the opener, as he is also the vice-captain for this series. Meanwhile, there are clear signs of Suryakumar Yadav debuting in this series.
Ravindra Jadeja is expected to walk into the playing XI instead of Axar Patel. Kuldeep Yadav is also gonna get a chance in playing XI for the 1st Test, as per the recent reports.
