Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has looked in good touch so far in the 1st Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023. The opener, however, is just behind DON BRANDMAN for an illustrious Test Cricket Milestone.

While batting in Test Cricket at Home, Rohit Sharma has scored 1792 runs in 31 innings so far with a brilliant average of 74.7. He is just behind the legendary Sir Don Brandman in terms of average in red-ball cricket at home. Bradman scored 4322 runs in 50 innings with a staggering average of 98.2.

Team India lost KL Rahul in the final session of its innings. However, the skipper took charge and decided to build the innings cautiously. Team India will now aim to set a big lead in this innings so that they could avoid batting on this spin-friendly pitch in the last innings.
