In a high-stakes match between India and Australia, the second Test has reached a crucial stage as both teams head into the lunch break on Day 3. India, who are chasing a target of 115 runs to win, have reached 14/1 at the end of the morning session. The team still needs 101 runs with nine wickets in hand, making the upcoming session all-important.

Following the dismissal of Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara joined Rohit Sharma in the middle. The duo played with caution and managed to see off the remaining overs until lunch.

India’s hopes now rest on the shoulders of Rohit Sharma, who has been in fine form in the series so far, and Pujara, who is known for his resilience and patience at the crease. The team will need a solid partnership from the pair to take on the Australian bowlers, who are in top form and looking to take wickets.
