The 16th edition of IPL is set to start on March 31 with an opening match between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad. The season will see a total of 70 league-stage matches that will be played across 12 venues for over 52 days.
The IPL has a special award every year for an individual for their excellence throughout the season. The award we are talking about is the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.

1. Ben Stokes
CSK bought Ben Stokes for a whopping amount of ₹16.25 crore during IPL 2023 Auction.
Stokes has shifted his focus to red-ball cricket after being appointed as England’s Test captain, yet he played a crucial role in England’s 2022 T20 World Cup title.
Stokes is returning to IPL after two seasons and will reunite with the same captain with whom he played for Rising Pune Supergiants in IPL 2017.

2. Moeen Ali
Moeen played a key role in his first season for CSK in IPL 2021, scoring 357 runs at a strike rate of 137.30 and picking up 6 wickets at an economy of 6.35. He can bat at any position and can also offer good off-spin in the middle overs, providing the much-needed balance to this CSK setup.
Moeen Ali has amassed 910 runs in 42 IPL innings at a strike rate of close to 144, and has snapped 24 wickets at an average of 26.12.
3. Deepak Chahar
Chahar is Dhoni’s go-to bowler in the power-plays. However, the Indian pacer has been dealing with a series of injuries that have consistently ruled him out of major tournaments. Hopefully, the pacer should be completely fit to play in IPL 2023.
