Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has showered praise on Virat Kohli for his innings of 44 runs in the first innings of the second Test against Australia in Delhi.
While Kohli was controversially given out by Nitin Menon, Kaif believes that kids should learn about the technique of Test matches by watching Kohli’s innings.
Kaif further added that Kohli’s approach and organized batting on a turning track is what one should aim for, whether or not runs are scored.
India went on to win the second Test by six wickets, taking a 2-0 lead in the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Ravindra Jadeja was named Player of the Match, following India’s earlier win in the opening contest by an innings and 132 runs in Nagpur.
