Bhuvneshwar Kumar was one of India’s leading bowlers in T20 World Cup 2022. However, after the World Cup, he has not been given many chances in T20Is. It seems the BCCI, who earlier claimed that they are planning to build a young team for T20 World Cup 2024, is not considering him in their future T20I plans.
Also, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been out of India’s Test and ODI circuit for quite a long time. It seems the BCCI is not looking to give him any more chances in future.

As per sources, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to retire from International Cricket soon.
One of the biggest drawbacks with Bhuvi is that his pace has gone down considerably. Also, death bowling which once used to be his strength has become one of his weaknesses. Thinking about the future, we should try and groom bowlers who not only swing the ball upfront but also have a decent pace.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, however, is likely to stay active in the IPL. Being one of the senior most players of the side, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is also in the race for SRH’s captaincy.
