IPL 2023: Huge Blow For KKR As Shakib Al Hasan And Litton Das Are Likely To Miss The Opening Matches For KKR

KKR has two Bangladeshi cricketers in their squad for IPL 2023 - Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das. Both of them are likely to miss the opening matches for KKR in IPL 2023.

A total of three Bangladeshis will play in IPL 2023. Among them, Delhi Capitals had already retained Mustafizur Rahman in their team. Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das have been picked by Kolkata Knight Riders in the mini auction.

IPL will start from March 31 and Kolkata Knight Riders will enter the field on April 1. However, they will not get two Bangladeshi cricketers Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das from the beginning of the tournament. The reason is that the Bangladesh Cricket Board has not yet given them an NOC as Bangladesh has an international match at that time.

Litton Das is ahead as the opener of Knights this time. As a result, his absence is a problem. On the other hand, KKR is giving more importance to Shakib Al Hasan as an all-rounder this time. Playing him with Russell will give him extra oxygen.

Shakib Al Hasan has set a precedent in ICC matches. He has been the number one all-rounder in T20 for a long time. He also has leadership skills. KKR will not get Shreyas Iyer this time. If Shakib Al Hasan and Litton Das are not available early this time, it will be a big problem. However, it is not known now how soon Shakib, Litton will join KKR.
