IPL 2023: Replacement Lists; Full List of Players Who Have Joined the IPL Teams as Replacement

In order to keep the squad as the requirement, the franchise will announce the replacement player for the IPL 2023 withdrawal players.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is all set to take place from March 31 with a match between the defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. The match will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

However, a few players have already been ruled out of the tournament even before its conduction.

List of players who have been ruled out of IPL 2023:

  • Jasprit Bumrah (Mumbai Indians)
  • Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals)
  • Kyle Jamieson (Chennai Super Kings)
  • Will Jacks (Royal Challengers Bangalore)
  • Jhye Richardson (Mumbai Indians)
  • Prasidh Krishna (Rajasthan Royals)

Following are the details of the IPL 2023 Replacement Players:

Till now replacements for only two players have been announced: Kyle Jamieson and Will Jacks. South Africa’s Sisanda Magala has been named as replacement for Kyle Jamieson, whereas New Zealand’s Michael Bracewell has been announced has replacement for Will Jacks. Replacements for the rest will be announced soon.

Players: Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, Jhye Richardson, Prasidh Krishna (Replacements will be announced soon).

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will be played in its regular “Home and Away” format. A total of 10 teams will participate in the event.
