After a forgettable performance last year, when they finished in ninth place, CSK will be aiming to make a strong comeback. However, they have a history of bouncing back from worse circumstances, such as their suspension in 2016 and 2017, after which they won the trophy in 2018.
Watson is confident that the team will turn things around and make a strong comeback, given their talented players and the leadership of Dhoni and Stephen Fleming. The former player also praised the team’s fans, saying that they are something very special.

While there are speculations that this season may be Dhoni’s last, Watson believes that the captain can play for as long as he wants.
