Mumbai Indians have lost both of their matches in the tournament due to the middle-order not being able to fire in the end. Anmolpreet Singh playing at number 3 instead of an injured Suryakumar Yadav, has failed to leave any mark on the game. Also, Keiron Pollard and Tim David are yet to showcase their power-hitting. Nevertheless, Suryakumar Yadav is expected to make a comeback in the MI vs KKR clash playing XI.
With Yadav and a newfound talent in Tilak Varma, Mumbai Indians will once again boast of a formidable middle-order they are known for. Jasprit Bumrah is bowling well for them in the death overs, but MI lack a strike bowler in the powerplay due to Jofra Archer not competing in this year’s tournament.
