Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram has lauded Rahul Tripathi for his excellent performance during their recent game against Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Tripathi’s unbeaten knock of 74 off just 48 balls led SRH to an eight-wicket win, and Markram credited the player for taking the pressure off the team’s batting lineup.
Markram also praised SRH’s bowlers, Marco Jansen and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who each took three wickets during the powerplay, enabling them to execute their plans effectively and get off to a solid start with the new ball. He added that their execution was crucial and had let them down in previous games.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper expressed his delight at Tripathi’s fantastic form and his ability to relieve the strain on the batting lineup. Tripathi’s excellent performance, which included ten boundaries and three sixes, helped his team win the game. Markram commended him for putting pressure on the bowlers and taking advantage of the pitch.
“He takes a lot of pressure off the batting unit, and his form is exciting for us as a team,” said Markram.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s first win of the season against PBKS will give them a significant boost in the coming games, including their upcoming match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 14.
