The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is in full swing, and with each match, the competition between teams is getting tougher. The upcoming match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 15th at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore is one of the most anticipated matches of the season.

Both teams have played three and four matches each, with RCB losing two consecutive matches against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), after winning their first match against Mumbai Indians (MI). Meanwhile, DC lost all their four matches against Rajasthan Royals (RR), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI).

As both teams look to gain momentum in the tournament, it is crucial to choose the right players for your fantasy team. In this article, we will discuss three players to avoid in your RCB vs DC fantasy team.

    1) Prithvi Shaw

Prithvi Shaw has had an underwhelming start to IPL 2023. The DC opener has been struggled to get some runs on the board. In the first match against RR, he got back to the pavilion with a duck. Then in the second match against LSG, he scored just 12 runs. Following that in the third match against GT, only 7 runs came from his bat. And in the last match against MI, he scored just 15 runs. Moreover, looking at this stats he may not be the best pick for your fantasy team. Hence, it is best to avoid selecting him in your fantasy team for today’s match between RCB and DC.

    2) Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel, a fast bowler who seems to have lost his cutting edge over the last one or two seasons. In the first match against MI, he conceded 43 runs in his 4 overs of spell, picking just one wicket. After that while playing against KKR, he conceded 38 runs while picking up just one wicket and his slower variations have been picked off by opposition batters with ease. Moreover, in the last match against LSG he conceded 48 runs and picked up just two wickets. Therefore, it would be a wise move to avoid him selecting in your fantasy team for RCB vs DC match.

    3) Manish Pandey

The experienced Indian batter was restricted to just two games for Delhi Capitals in the current season, as he scored just 26 runs from two innings, including a duck. He did not get a chance to play in the second and third match of the current season and might also not feature in the playing 11 for this match. Even if he does, his poor form in the previous two matches and lack of opportunities make him a risky choice for your fantasy team. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid selecting him for your RCB vs DC fantasy team.

In conclusion, to increase your chances of winning your fantasy team for RCB vs DC, it’s best to avoid selecting Prithvi Shaw, Harshal Patel, and Manish Pandey in your team. Instead, consider choosing players who are in good form and have a higher chance of making a significant contribution to their team’s performance.
