Team India’s leading fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been running out of the team for a long time due to injury. Due to this, Bumrah is not seen playing for his franchise Mumbai Indians in IPL. Meanwhile, a big update has come out regarding his return to the Indian team. A BCCI source has given this information.

A report states that according to a BCCI source, the cricket board is confident that fast bowler Bumrah will be fit in time for the 2023 World Cup. The source has also clarified that the board will stick to its policy of not allowing any active Indian player to participate in various other T20 leagues around the world, including the proposed T20 league in Saudi Arabia.

Let us tell you that India will host the ODI World Cup starting from 5 October. Bumrah has played 73 matches in his ODI career and has taken 121 wickets. He has an impressive economy rate of 4.63 and his ODI career best spell is 6 wickets for 19 runs. In such a situation, if this veteran bowler returns to Team India before the World Cup, then the Indian team will become stronger.

The Indian team has a golden chance to win three ICC trophies this year. Immediately after the IPL, the Indian team will play the final match of the World Test Championship with Australia in June. After this, the team will participate in the Asia Cup to be held in September and at the end of the year in October-November, the team will participate in the ODI World Cup.
