IPL 2023 | DC vs SRH: DC triumph over SRH in a nail-biting finish; David Warner lauds Ishant Sharma’s hard work

Delhi Capitals hold their nerve in a nail-biting finish to secure consecutive wins, while Sunrisers Hyderabad slump to their fourth consecutive loss.

In a thrilling match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), DC emerged victorious by 7 runs, thanks to a fantastic performance by their bowlers. The SRH middle-order once again crumbled under pressure, and despite Mayank Agrawal’s impressive knock of 49 runs in 39 balls, they fell short of the target of 145.

Delhi Capitals

DC’s decision to bat first paid off as they scored 144-9, despite being reduced to 62-5 in 8 overs. Axar Patel and Manish Pandey showed great resilience on an uneven track and helped DC set a competitive target. Patel was the pick of the bowlers, taking 2 crucial wickets and giving away only 21 runs in his 4-over spell.
