Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Verma, and Rinku Singh likely to be picked for the T20I series against West Indies – Reports

Jaiswal, who was already in BCCI's plans for T20 World Cup 2024, has now hit a dominating century in Rajasthan Royals' last game against Mumbai Indians, and carries high chances of getting a T20I call soon.

Rajasthan Royals star batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal is giving back-to-back brilliant performances in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League and is knocking hard on the door of the selectors for a Team India call.

Jaiswal, who was already in BCCI’s plans for T20 World Cup 2024, has now hit a dominating century in Rajasthan Royals’ last game against Mumbai Indians, and carries high chances of getting a T20I call soon. As per reports, Yashasvi Jaiswal could be picked in the squad for Team India’s next T20I fixture which will be against West Indies in July-August.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s strike rate has been nearly around 200 so far in the powerplay overs of the tournament. So far, the IPL 2023 has been very fruitful for the youngster and he just needs to proceed with the same tempo in the upcoming games.

Apart from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Tilak Verma and Rinku Singh are also likely to get a T20I call soon.

In IPL 2022, Tilak Varma registered almost 400 runs at a strike rate of over 140. But in the IPL 2023, he is playing even better. Also, the current Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has given hints that he could be seen in an Indian jersey soon.

Rinku Singh’s name came to frame because of his extraordinary finishing abilities. He has a great six-hitting ability and also plays the game with a healthy strike rate in the middle overs.
