On Friday (May 5), at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) will face off against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 48th match of the Indian Premier League 2023.
Rajasthan Royals, who had won their five out of nine matches against the SRH, DC, PBKS, LSG, MI and CSK will look to accumulate 2 more points in today’s match against the Gujarat Titans. RR holds the fourth position on the points table.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, who had won their six out of nine matches against the CSK, DC, RCB, GT and KKR will look to get 2 more points in today’s match against the Rajasthan Royals. GT holds first position on the points table.

- The upcoming edition of IPL will have two groups: Group A and Group B.
- Group A will consist of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
- Group B will consist of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
- In total, there will be 14 matches for each of the 10 teams, consisting of seven home and seven away games. The teams will face the five teams from the opposing group two times each, while they will play against the other four teams from their own group only once.
- Once the league stage is over, the playoffs will feature the top 4 teams.
